The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) has new regulations that go into effect for all cash transactions involving entities or trusts as grantees on deeds starting on December 1, 2025.  Learn about what the new regulations are and why attorneys who prepare deeds for transactions are on the waterfall of reporting agents who are required to report information to FinCEN within 30-days of closing.  The program will also cover why the person reporting the transaction needs information about entities and trusts beyond what is typically provided to complete the 150-plus question reporting form for each transaction.
