Ver Beek Law, Prof. LLC a Sioux Falls law firm specializing in family law currently has a position available for a full-time paralegal. This position requires self-motivation and the ability to provide a broad spectrum of duties under the supervision of the assigned attorney. This position requires an organized and detail-orientated individual with strong multi-tasking skills. Duties may include but are not limited to preparing and drafting pleadings and correspondence, electronic filing and service of documents, maintaining attorney calendars and case files, discovery preparation, trial notebook completion and performing other tasks as assigned. This position also requires attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks at one time, perform well in stressful situations, excellent attendance, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to prioritize work and flexibility with schedule (occasional overtime may be required.)

Two years Associate’s Degree and/or prior legal paralegal/assistant experience required.

This is an hourly position with a starting range from $25.00 to $30.00 and is dependent upon experience.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week.)

Occasional overtime may be required.
