Transactional Attorney (2–5 Years Experience)
Location: Flexible (In-Person, Hybrid, or Remote for the Right Candidate)

Nooney & Solay is a busy and fast-paced law firm seeking a motivated attorney with approximately 2–5 years of experience to join our transactional practice. This position offers substantial client contact, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters in a collaborative environment.
Our transactional practice group focuses primarily on:
Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration
Business Formation, Governance, and Transactions
Real Estate Transactions
Commercial Contracts and General Business Counseling
The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing matters independently while also collaborating closely with attorneys and staff. Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, practical problem-solving abilities, and excellent client service are essential.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in South Dakota, or willing and eligible to obtain South Dakota licensure within a reasonable period following hire
2–5 years of experience in one or more transactional practice areas
Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines efficiently
Desire to build client relationships and contribute to firm growth
