“Stay in South Dakota” Career Fair
USD Knudson School of Law is hosting a “Stay in South Dakota” Career Fair on November 3, 2022 to provide a networking opportunity for firms in rural South Dakota to reach law students. This event will take place at the law school and will involve the following:
1) a “Recruiting 101” session and complimentary brunch at 10:00 am for rural employers;
2) an opportunity to network with law students from 12:00-2:00 pm;
3) a possible virtual component if there is employer and student interest.
All students (1L, 2L, and 3L) will participate in the networking event. Please see the attached flyer for more details. Less formal than OCIs, the networking aspect will give you face time with students you might not otherwise reach. Students will be instructed to bring resumes with contact information, and I would encourage firms to bring their business cards and advertise any open internship or post-grad positions.
